Draftsman

The task

Inter RAO needed an AI assistant that turns a business process description into a BPMN 2.0 diagram: lanes for each role, documents, information systems, branches and loops. The diagram has to pass the standard’s validation and open in any editor.

What I built

• The model first drafts a plan of the process, then writes code against the organizers’ DIAGRAM interface; the code runs in a sandbox with a whitelist of calls
• Graph algorithms complete the structure: merge gateways, forgotten participants, broken logic. Every fix shows up in the quality panel
• My own layout engine: zero crossings and merged arrows on 360 synthetic processes, down from 70 and 290
• Full process mode: a regulation with a passport, a RACI matrix and step cards, the diagram built from the same cards, export to Word on A4
• A bpmn-js editor in the browser, a tab with the model’s code, EPC notation for Sila Union; clicking an element highlights the phrase it came from
• The live site runs aliceai-llm in Yandex AI Studio, chosen after a comparison with YandexGPT Pro and gpt-oss-120b. The same pipeline runs on a local qwen3.5:9b
